But never admit to you how I really feel.

No one will ever love you as much as I do.

Did you feel me forget you?
Like I had given up,
And let go of you.

I got out before you lit the match.
I left before I could get hurt even more.
Did you feel it when I pulled away?
Did you feel like I was ready to leave?

I hope someday you think back,
To when you had everything right in your arms.
I hope something reminds you of us,
And what we had.
But most of all I hope you think about
How you lost someone who loved you very much.

So did you feel it that day?

Do You Remember?Do you remember that poem you wrote me?
Well, I found it the other day.
It was in my jacket pocket.

I didn't know one piece of paper
Could bring back so many memories.
It's amazing how long it has been
Since you gave it to me.

I am thankful that
I had you in my life.
All the good and bad times,
They made us that much stronger.

Thank you for coming into my life.
Thank you loving me.
I couldn't have asked for anything better.

So you see what a simple
Piece of paper with words on it can do.
It made me remember why I cared so much.
It made me remember you,
So thank you for writing it.

My over active mind will not allow me to believe it.

My weary blood shot eyes will not allow me to see it.

Even though my attentive heart is able to receive it.

For some reason I will always feel cheated.

So please don't blame yourself because you have done more than enough.

For it's in my sleep that you would see
the things my heart cannot disguise.

We would stand under the city lights,
with the cold snow falling so serene.
But we wouldn't care about the arctic air,

Instead we'd be lost in a deep fantasy,
with our arms holding each other tight.
I would take in every breath you breathe
to stay warm from the chill of the night.

as our dark eyes continuously gleam.

I fantasize about riding that silver wave

I see so many things
In that vast unknown

I see them smiling
Waiting for me to come home

My Heart Skipped A BeatEvery time I saw you,
I couldn't help but stare.
Your beautiful eyes
Melted into mine,
And they made my heart skip a beat.

When you spoke,
It was like time stopped,
And everything stood still
Except for you and me.

I've never had a crush on someone
That made me feel this way.
Everything you did took my breath away.
The sad part about all of this is you don't even know.

You don't know that when you look at me,
I fall that much harder.
You have no idea that when you speak to me,
You put butterflies in my stomach.

I couldn't help but stare.

Fairytale

Once upon a time a long time ago
There lived a little girl
Who looked out her window
And every night she'd look and she'd see
what was waiting for her
when she finally broke free

And every single night
she would sing into the sky
and she wouldn't see the darkness
only the moon and the stars
she would only see the light
that was shining just for her

And this little girl
yes, she was me
back then she was still strong
strong enough to believe
in miracles and promises
without being afraid of cold hard truth

Oh yes, back then, so long ago
Back then, I still believed
I believe in fairy tales
and i knew that good would always wi

Coming OutWith promises to be good,
you prayed every day
and waited for the sign,

even when a songbird touched
down on the roofs of Kansas
and went hollow on your shoulder.

The shedding of teardrops,
the coming out of a heartland
from its religion.

Breathing the smoke of its ash,
and being washed clean of what
you thought you knew.

The locusts never come,
the harvest will yet fail,
but don't deny the butterfly

that carries you over pastures
of dairy cows too busy
to look up at you and judge.

JealousyWhy do you love her?
She doesn't know you,
She doesn't understand.

She has everything,
That I want in her arms.

To the ones who love you.

Sure, she'd pretty,
Yeah, she's smart,
But so am I.

I guess jealousy
Has taken over,
And has clouded my mind.
I envy everything she has,
Because I don't have you in my life.

Listening to music,
Is like therapy.
The lyrics speak,
We listen.
Class is in session.

As we listen,
We relate to the lyrics,
We fall in love with the songs.

This love will never let you down,
Music will always be there for you.
It will hold you late at night,
When you're crying your eyes out.
It will hold your hand,
When you're in love.
It will be your best friend,
When you are happy or sad.

It's everything.

I Can't Do This AnymoreI use to love you,
I use to care,
But now it seems like
I have drifted a different way.

Those feelings that I once had for you,
Are no longer there.
I don't think they will come back either.

Honestly, I can't do this anymore.
I can't pretend to love you when I don't.
So I'll save you heart ache,
And I'll give you time to get over me,
But just know that I don't think I'll ever love you again.

A lie changed my life,
It cut me in half,
Just like a knife.

Three years ago,
My family almost feel,
And it changed me,
Sending me to hell.

I picked up the blade,
For the very first time,

I risked everything,
All caused by a lie,
I decided to fling.

That all happened three years ago,
When I made a mistake,
And grabbed that blade,
Using it for all the peace I could take.

BeautyOnce upon a dream there was a boy
who whispered metaphors into his blankets
in the dead of the night. he pǝuɹnʇ them
over and twisted them and s t r e t c h e d them
searching for the melody that would define him.
what he didn't know is that his ears were traitors;
they rejected every rhyme without a trace of shame
and never allowed him to realize that his melodies
were real music, were beauty and love woven
into delicate threads; he only heard cacophony.
night after night he struggled and agonized
never satisfied with any combination of notes
always concluding that he was inferior to the world.
on the other side of the fence, close and far away
a girl with with stars in her eyes cried; her tears
were of the purest silver, the plainest pain.

There is only one thing I want this year,

So, please, lend me your ear

I'm not interested in kisses under the mistletoe,

I really just want a ground covered in snow

A white Christmas, my dear Jack, is all that I need,

Not boxes with bows or a Christmas tree;

No, my desire is much simpler,

To give way to a sparkling new year,

Just cover my town with ice and frost,

A gift that really has no real cost.

Because I miss the snowflakes and the biting cold,

This warmth and rain is truly getting old.

So, please, grant my wish this year

And fill my December with holiday cheer.

I live in Buffalo, New York and we are known for getting crazy amounts of snow, right? But for the past 2 years, we've got barely any. I'm literally watching it rain right now. It's snowed, like, 3 times this year and it barely even stuck to the ground. It's driving me nuts! I really just want a white Christmas this year....

I do hope Jack Frost provides for me

I feel like this every year. We get snow, but never on christmas. The only time i ever really want snow is on christmas. But this year it did snow on christmas eve, but didnt accumulate to much. Beautiful poem.

Hey there, uhm, let me share you something... I live in Philippines and we don't have spring, autumn and winter seasons here (I know, it sucks, right?) So, I'm kinda hoping that Jack Frost will lend us some tiny weeny snow here on our country but I know that he wouldn't go here because it's hot in our place. I wish Jack can give us some cold snow here. :/

This is exactly how I felt. I live in Wisconsin, and last Christmas there wasn't ANY snow, T^T I was sad. But there's snow now, so it's okay. :3

i miss snow sooo much... we used to get so much.. it angers me when people wish snow away! what's more fun than snow? plus i get heat sickness more often than actual colds or the flu... so yes more snow please!
